ABOUT ME

Jonathan (Jon) Berdyck is a composer and percussionist based in Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania. After 25 years in IT—engineering, datacenter management, service leadership, and consulting—he went all-in on film scoring.

He brings technical precision, process expertise, collaborative energy, team leadership, professional writing creds, and teaching skills to the craft, helping realize others' visions while preserving his voice. He's continually pursuing his desire to forge emotional connections through music.

Jonathan holds a BS from Michigan State University, an MS in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon, and is pursuing a MM in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music.
